The sun rising through our Blue gum forest on Sunday morning - the flowers are a wish for the New Year!
Your very own bluegum forest! Even though they're not indigenous, they are beautiful trees and this is a superb sketch of them Maree.
ReplyDeleteThanks Liz. I read somewhere that Blue gums was not on the eradication list like Black Wattles, as Blue gums have been here for so long that they now fall under the indigenous list. A third of our smallholding is covered with them - this area used to be one huge blue gum forest industry for the mines.
ReplyDeleteA lovely sketch, Maree and you had fun with the colours! Thanx for your unexpected promotion of my web pages on Fb! Enjoy your trees, I love their trunks with the peeling effects!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it Marie, thanks. And the promotion is a pleasure, a small Xmas gift!
ReplyDeleteI'm lovin' this!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Pam!
