Crow on a bough

Coco, my Crow and companion for 20 years 

I'm a crow on a bough 
battered by the winds 
I've got shelter indeed 
but Ill brave it for my sins 

I'm the sun on a snowdrop 
opening from it's sleep 
I've got a world to light 
but on it's petals I'll beat 

I'm the dogs at your door 
begging to be fed 
but if you feed me once 
your step will make my bed 

 like a worm in a worm hole 
thoughts tunnel my mind 
I am all of these things 
these exist within mankind

    This is lovely too. Came from seeing your work on Sketching in nature. Love this of Coco too. They are such fun birds to watch.

    I'm sorry you no longer have Coco as a companion, Maree. The time we have with these special animal friends is always too short, yet we carry them with us all the time in other ways. Thank you for telling us about Coco and her playful habits. I know you must miss her.
    I always enjoy your posts and seeing your part of the world through your delightful sketches.

    I had trouble posting on the "Sketching In Nature" blog, so I looked to see if you might have your own blog! Now I can look through your wonderful sketches more often.
