Balmy autumn days

"Now Autumn's fire burns slowly along the woods, And day by day the dead leaves fall and melt."
- William Allingham

W&N watercolour in my Moleskine 200gsm Nature Journal

Balmy autumn days and the landscape is softly turning yellow, heralding that winter is close.

  2. Hi Maree. Lovely sketch , the earth looks so dry almost like sand. I love your free flowing style. Sometimes I achieve it and other times I over work it, then the colours end up looking muddy !

  3. Maree - such a beautiful sketch...looks like it could have been drawn from somewhere close to my home. Hard to believe that you are in autumn and we are just getting to spring. Hope you have a lovely day.
