DeleteThe candle wax technique is really simple - I just 'draw' the tree trunks with a piece of sharpened white candle and then paint right over it. The paint doesn't take where the candle wax is, very similar to to Friskit, that rubbery stuff one paints on to preserve some white in the painting. But unlike Friskit, the candle wax cannot be removed, once it's there, it's there! Ha ha! Sometimes makes for some interesting outcomes!
